The shop itself is approx 5000sq ft and is one of the largest fishing tackle shops in East Anglia.  The staff are very friendly and helpful each specialising in their own field and are always happy to help.

If you need advice then talk to one of the following: 

Stacy Bird: (Assistant Manager) Stacy has just starting his career as a fisherman and is learning fast, he likes the sea and has fished from the boat and beach alike, he seems to be able to catch when people around him fail and if he could bottle it would be very rich. Although new to fishing his knowledge is impressive.

Brian Betts: (Browsing Brian) This man can turn his hand to any type of fishing and has many years of experience in catching anything from tiddlers to whoppers. Brian prefers Pike to any other species, although he is useful to know for most areas of fishing. We turn to him if there are any pole anglers around so you can be sure of good advice.

Adam Shave (The Wee Man) (Returns Dept)

Adam is our newest member of staff. His main pursuit is carp,he also fishes for most other species and likes a bit of sea fishing as well.

Tim Phillips:(timmmmaaayyy)  (Mail Order/Sales)                 

Tim has a good overall knowledge of most areas of fishing having been fishing for more than 25years. His main pursuit is carp fishing. he has a good knowledge of bait, rigs and can help you out with most questions carpy. Tim in now on his second spell with us having tried his hand at bait making and is keen to help with any queries you may have so just ask.

Damien Morling (Daymo)(Purchasing)

Damien has a good knowledge of carp and predator fishing.

He has been on the fishing scene for a few years working for Rig Marole

Kevin Bird & David Bird: (Proprietors)

These are the men who have pumped the money into this huge shop and funded this great web site. These are the people who pay the staff’s wages, pay the bills, and give the staff their orders… sometimes anyways.

Kevin isn’t actually a fisherman but he helps out a lot in the shop so say hi to him! Maybe someone can take him fishing someday?

David dabbles at every sort of fishing there is. Fly fishing, Sea fishing, to General Course fishing. Just don’t disturb him at lunchtime; he eats the worlds biggest sandwiches and wont let anyone near them! So be warned!
